The complete log in console for a given task doesn't seem to show any error, but the above error usually appears after the "sent request, body" line, but does not mention the task UUID: defaultđ5:51:11.365446-0400 NetNewsWire Task. The net effect is that nothing syncs from BazQux at all - my feeds show as read, even though most of them have articles. The seems to be where a description of the error goes if I am reading the code right. In Console, I see Refresh missing articles failed. □ That also argues against it really being a dupe of #2055, as that looked like being an encoding issue. I'm guessing that's where the problem is (adding feeds to Feedly), as there's presumably nothing about your own feed that your own app wouldn't like. This is the first feed I tried to add to the Feedly account from within NNW rather than its own web-based UI. Tried opening Firefox (I've only been trying Safari as default browser during Big Sur public beta), going to the blog homepage site, and clicking on the "Add to Feedly" extension I already have installed on Firefox, added the feed in Feedly. Tried it pasting that url from the browser url bar instead of as offered by the app. Tried copying the home page URL and going to add-feed: "Not found". Tried copying the feed URL and going to add-feed: "Not found". (That's all the information given in the error dialog.) But of the subscriptions in it, one I wanted to add to Feedly was of course the one for NetNewsWire itself, to see future blog/announcements about the app.įirst thing I tried was to just drag it into the appropriate Feedly folder in the app. I noted the "On My Mac" subscriptions on first load, but because I was importing Feedly, I was going to disable that account. NNW 5.1 (3007) for Mac (Big Sur public beta), just downloaded for the first time today because of the new Feedly support, as I've been using Feedly since Google Reader was taken from us, and didn't want to stop (because I also use it on linux/windows). Raised as new partly because of the identity of the feed I was having trouble adding, and because it was my very first experience of the app, so potentially an onboarding issue? If you have any problems, we will help you out in Slack ( see above). Certain account types, like Feedly, aren't enabled and the Reader View isn't enabled because of this. This is because we have API keys that can't be stored in the repository or shared between developers. This is a special build of NetNewsWire with some functionality disabled. Now you should be able to build without code signing errors and without modifying the NetNewsWire Xcode project. You can now open the NetNewsWire.xccodeproj in Xcode. Note that PROVISIONING_PROFILE_SPECIFIER should not have a value associated with it. Set ORGANIZATION_IDENTIFIER to a reversed domain name that you control or have made up. You can use Keychain Access to find your development team ID. Set DEVELOPMENT_TEAM to your Apple supplied development team.
